Writing a 7th Grade Research PaperAs a seventh grader, the last thing I wanted to do was write a 7th grade research paper. But I had been asked to do it. My sister had done her own research in order to get her grade in order. I decided that I would give it my best shot.One of the first things I learned in college, and why I love it, is the scientific method. There is no way to do research if you don't have a plan, a good method, and the proper tools. In my case, my sister decided she wanted to make sure her grades went up. So she looked for a work that could be used for her homework assignment. She chose a chemistry workbook that she thought would fit in well in her class.The first thing I found about the chemistry workbook was the fact that it was under 10 pages long. Since I knew nothing about chemistry related subjects, I figured this was just fine. I could read over it later on to see if it explained the subject matter. Since I already had my chemistry lab set up in the garage, I decided to check it out.One of the major problems I found with the book was the fact that they use 'function words' throughout the text. For example, many times a word like 'indicator' would be used in place of the word 'equation'. It just sounded sloppy to me. So, one of the first things I did when I got home from school was to go back to the library and find an alternative book.This was my first experience with the internet and it was a great way to get information. I found an online chemistry textbook called Chemistry 101 by John F.Kranz. While it had its own problem, I found it easier to use than the older one.Getting online was definitely a big step up from having to read the text. As far as my grades were concerned, I can say that I am very proud of them. I have also gotten better grades in other classes.Now that I have two books that I have checked out, I know what I am going to need for each homework assignment. I'm planning on using my new resources for my next homework as signment. My next one should not be too difficult to do. When it comes to writing a school work, that is the most important step.If you want to write a chemistry homework, there are plenty of free resources out there. The key is to learn how to find the information that you need, and how to organize that information to create a cohesive paper.
